A little bit about Nazima and Pierre.
Hi and thanks for visiting Franglais Kitchen. We write this site to document our love of flavours, food, recipes and restaurants at home and abroad. Just as we are a family with global influence, so is the food in this blog.
You will find lots of information on health and balance in diets since Nazima is a medical doctor with a clinical and research interest in Nutrition and metabolism in health and disease.
With Yin comes Yang and we balance the healthy stuff out with recipes for special occasions and advice from the professional kitchen on how to take your cooking to the next level – Pierre works in the food industry. Having trained as a chef in Paris he no longer works in the kitchen, but has lots of advice on how to prepare and present food, and insight into food trends that we try to share here.
We contribute to a local food programme, Flavour on Cambridge 105- you can find links to relevant podcasts on our media page as well as links to paid articles we have written externally.
We don’t prescribe to any particular diets, but do mark them up and you can search for these on the header search bar.
Beyond what there is space or interest for on the blog, you can see pictures of what we are cooking and/or eating on Instagram.
